Photos to me are little time machines. Whenever I get the chance I try to capture moments in time and not just for my clients – also for myself. When we were expecting I just knew it needed to be special. So I needed to find the perfect photographer who knew how to make my vision become a reality. And I had found her. The wonderful Julia Sloboba travelled from across the country to capture these amazing images for us. Both digitally and on film. And I will forever be grateful to her. When I look back at these images I remember the excitement, the butterflies (and kicks) in my stomach, the wonderful unknown happiness – the big change in our lives that was about to come. Having your first child is like every firsts in your life – a unique and wonderful time. A time that will never come back. Life has changed and transformed to a whole new chapter now that I am a mother. But thanks to these images I will never forget the emotions I felt right before. I chose three dresses, simply because I could not decide and Julia was so smitten and loved the idea. I also wanted different colours as we kept the gender a secret. My choice of shoes were non other than my beloved Jimmy Choos. My husband wore the shoes he wore on our wedding day and combined his outfit with a summary beige linen jacket. It was perfect.
